Marc Moen brings a unique blend of language and legal expertise to his role as a Legal Services Advisor. He earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma in May 1996, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating with honors as a member of Phi Delta Phi in May 1999.
During his time at OU, Marc demonstrated his leadership and teamwork skills as a defenseman for the University’s hockey team in 1997 and 1998. He also taught Spanish at Norman Public Schools while completing his law degree, showcasing his commitment to education and community engagement.
Marc’s career has been defined by the intersection of language and law. As a translator and interpreter for various courts and government agencies, he has facilitated communication in complex legal contexts. His most rewarding professional experience was working on the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance team for a $944 million acquisition by a Fortune 300 company, where he played a pivotal role in translating and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Marc finds equal fulfillment in handling small business transactions, demonstrating his dedication to serving clients of all sizes.
Specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions, business law, and estate planning, Marc joined our firm in November 2022. His comprehensive understanding of both legal and linguistic nuances makes him an invaluable asset to our team.
Born and raised in Mustang, Oklahoma, Marc is a devoted father to three boys: Marc, Jude, and Carey. Outside of his professional life, he is passionate about weight training and fitness, and enjoys spending time with his family and dogs.
